Position Summary
The Receptionist must provide superior customer service and educational guidance to customers or registered medical patients and caregivers. The Receptionist greets customers, medical patients, and their caregivers as they enter the dispensary. The Receptionist must maintain an organized environment and facility appearance.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills

  • Familiar with LeafLogix POS, Veriscan systems, a plus
  • Experience in a sales environment preferred.
  • Accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to answer multi-phone line system.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Proficiency in windows-based software,
  • Knowledgable of the current Nevada Cannabis Compliance and Regulations

Core Job Duties
Customer service and facility upkeep:

  • Greet customers or medical patients and caregivers as they enter the dispensary.
  • Maintain customer or registered cardholder traffic flow, minimize wait times, and maximize sales and customer or registered cardholder satisfaction;
  • Respond to and resolve customer or medical patient requests, complaints, or compliments in person, through email, and on the phone requesting supervisor support as needed;
  • Maintain organization of dispensary and waiting room through daily upkeep and light cleaning;
  • Record specific requests, preferences, and notifications for a customer or registered cardholders and caregivers using the ADP/POS system;

Cannabis education and guidance:

  • Maintain knowledge of all medicine, products, and services provided, as well as applicable state and local laws;
  • Educate customer or medical patients and caregivers on consumption options and methods, strain information, medicinal effectiveness for specific ailments, and cultivation methods;
  • Provide educational materials and resources for customer or registered cardholders and caregivers as needed
  • Communicate inventory levels with the inventory manager to maintain accurate menus and update menus as needed;
    Additional duties as required.

Job Tasks

Daily:

  • Assist in the start of day and end of day procedures, stock products, and supplies, read, reply to, and forward emails accordingly
  • Greet and check-in customers or medical patients and caregivers from the lobby to the dispensary.
  • Provide superior customer service and education to customers or medical patients and caregivers.
  • Maintain and organize dispensary through daily upkeep and light cleaning.
  • Assist the Dispensary Manager and/or Assistant Dispensary Manager with research, communications, or any other assigned projects/tasks.

Weekly:

  • Stay informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, and industry news.
  • Ensure facility organization and cleanliness by performing light cleaning.

Monthly:

  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled.

The dispensary agent must arrange and package customer or registered cardholder orders, record sales in the ADP/POS system, and handle transactions. The dispensary agent must maintain an organized environment and facility appearance.

  • Maintain organization of dispensary and waiting room through daily upkeep and light cleaning;
  • Prepare customers or registered cardholders and caregivers online and pre-orders.
  • Payment processing, cash handling
  • Process payment for all customers or registered cardholders and caregivers purchases and provide a receipt for each purchase;
  • Record specific requests, preferences, and notifications for a customer or registered cardholders and caregivers using the ADP/POS system;
  • Maintain organization of cashier counter through daily light cleaning;
    Cannabis education and guidance:
  • Maintain knowledge of all medicine, products, and services provided, as well as applicable state and local laws;

  • Update product menus as necessary.
  • Prepare curbside and online orders.
  • Maintain and organize dispensary through daily upkeep and cleaning/sanitizing.
  • Assist the Dispensary Manager with research, communications, or any other assigned projects/tasks.

Weekly:

  • Stay informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, and industry news.
  • Ensure facility organization and cleanliness by performing cleaning & sanitizing of facility
  • Follow-up with a customer or registered card holders and caregivers about a specific product or service requests.
  • Assist management in product inventory and/or adjustments.

Monthly:

  • Participate in the COMPANY discussions and provide suggestions for improving product availability, customer or registered cardholder and caregiver satisfaction and/or the COMPANY policies and procedures.
  • Attend staff meetings as scheduled.
